·      Sustainable Stockton Meeting.  Please join us for our meeting this Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 7 am at Emy J’s/Café Espresso in downtown Stevens Point (a menu is available on-line at http://www.emyjs.com/id17.html).  March Meeting Minutes and May 7th agenda are attached.
·      Local Discussion Group. A new community-wide discussion group began on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 6:30 pm in the Rotary Room of the Portage County Public Library in downtown Stevens Point.  The discussion focuses on issues related to climate change using materials developed by the Northwest Earth Institute.  Learn what others around the country have done as families, as individuals, as businesses, and as small advocacy groups within communities, to create a more ecologically sustainable culture.  To find out more call 592-4051.  The discussion group is co-sponsored by Farmshed and Sustainable Stockton.
·      Radio ShowEvery Tuesday afternoon from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Eric Olson (of Farmshed, Center for Land Use Education (CLUE) and the College of Natural Resources at UWSP) does a sustainability radio show on 89.9 FM called “The Terminal Moraine”.  Give it a listen!
