A new community-wide discussion group began on Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 6:30 pm in the Rotary Room of the Portage County Public Library in downtown Stevens Point. The discussion focuses on issues related to climate change using materials developed by the Northwest Earth Institute. Learn what others around the country have done as families, as individuals, as businesses, and as small advocacy groups within communities, to create a more ecologically sustainable culture.
