Upcoming Events: · Sustainable Stockton Meeting. Sustainable Stockton will NOT hold a meeting this month. However, we are sponsoring a CSA tour scheduled for July 21st (see below). Our next regular Sustainable Stockton Meeting will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009, at 7 pm in the Stockton Municipal Building. Sustainable Stockton invites you to tour Stockton’s only Community-Supported Agriculture Farm (CSA) - Whitefeather Organics, LLC. Join us on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at 7:00 pm, at 2239 Sky View Road, Custer, WI to find out what a CSA is all about and how Tony, Laura, and their crew grow organic vegetables here in Central Wisconsin. The tour will last about an hour with refreshments to follow. The tour is free, and all are welcome to attend. (Directions: Go east on Hwy 161 from the Hwy 161/Hwy 10 jct. UW Extension and Central Rivers Farmshed are sponsoring a series of informative walks through some of Portage County’s private vegetable gardens on Tuesdays from 7 pm to 8 pm.
